Nowadays, there are so many resources out there for people trying to learn more about the creative industry - whether it’s cinematography, video editing, photography, etc. Even though I did go to film school, I definitely still learned a lot on my own, and continue to do so.
That’s something that I think often times people forget about this craft - you’re never going to know it all. It’s an ever evolving art form, always with room to learn and grow. Even I have to remind myself of this at times, when I get lost in comparing myself to others in this field. I’m still learning and so are they, even though what they might post on social media might make you think otherwise.
With that said, I’ve always wanted to find a humble space where I can deep dive into my love of filmmaking, video production, and photography and share what I learn - and maybe help other folks learn more along the way. I hope that this blog can be part of that goal.
